The Public Animals Graffiti T-Shirt from Street Level Nine

Street Level Nine is a company which has its origins in the streets of NYC graffiti and the urban lifestyle and was founded by Joey TPA, a graffiti writer hailing from the 1970’s and one of the orginal founding members of the TPA Crew (The Public Animals).
The Public Animals is a legendary graffiti crew formed in 1976 by three budding graffiti writers; Vade, Demo and Joey. Since its creation the TPA Crew has continued to grow from the NYC streets to gain global awareness with admirers and fans worldwide and now thrives on five continents having become the largest and longest running graffiti crew in history.
Joey TPA himself is quoted as saying “It was destiny for me to create a beautiful panorama of international membership from all continents, races, genders, colors and ages, without barriers. It was my dream destined for reality. Making history was never my motive, nor was ego or fame. Rather, I wanted to bring together an assortment of individuals of different styles and cultures to find a means to encourage harmony through the fun of mutual risk and art forms.”
